Manufacturing process of aluminum discs includes melting, casting, annealing, rolling, flattening, cutting and packaging. Melting refers to that of aluminum ingots. The ingots are cleaned, placed into melting pots and heated until they become aluminum liquid. The liquid then travels through the pot outlet into a casting machine, during which it turns into aluminum coil of a certain size. Rolling includes hot rolling and cold rolling. Hot rolling refers to rolling process above the recrystallization temperature. Cold rolling is achieved on the basis of hot rolling. Hot rolled aluminum coils must go through acid pickling before being cold rolled. The mechanical properties of cold rolled aluminum coils are so bad that they have to be annealed. The purpose of annealing is to reduce hardness, improve workability, eliminate remaining mechanical stress and adjust physical structure of aluminum coils.
